VitalTrack: Android

VitalTrack APK is an Android-only application that helps users monitor vital signs and movement data collected through the VitalTrack device in real time.

This application provides Bluetooth connectivity, data collection, storage and visualization capabilities with VitalTrack devices.


 

1. How to use the VitalTrack app


1.1 Initial setup of the app

1.1.1 Activate Bluetooth

Before running the app, you need to enable Bluetooth on your phone. This can be done from the Settings menu. (Settings path: Settings > Bluetooth or tap the Bluetooth icon in the Quick Settings panel to enable it.)


1.1.2 Running the app

Launch the VitalTrack app. When you first launch it, it may ask for Bluetooth permission and location access, so allow it.


1.2 Connecting the Device

1.2.1 Device discovery and pairing

Start searching for devices in the VitalTrack app. When the app finds a nearby VitalTrack device and displays it in a list, select it to complete pairing.


1.3 Data collection and visualization

1.3.1 Start data collection

When you press the Start Measurement button in the app (the floating button with a play shape in the bottom right), real-time data collection from the VitalTrack device begins. The collected data is visualized in a graph and displayed on the screen.


1.3.2 Checking PPG data

You can view PPG (Photoplethysmography) data in real time in graph form. It is used to detect and measure changes in the user's blood flow. PPG data shows the amount of blood that changes according to the pulse of the blood flow.


1.3.3 Checking IMU Data

You can check IMU(Inertial Measurement Unit) data in real time. It tracks the user's movements through accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetometer data.


1.3.4 Data Storage

When you press the stop measurement button (floating button with a stop shape at the bottom right) in the app, the measurement will stop and the data collected after the start of the measurement will be automatically saved to the smartphone's internal storage. The saved data can be checked by connecting to a PC at the following path:
