Newert Presents at the 2025 ICT New Technology Defense Application Showcase and Runs a Consultation Booth
On April 22, 2025, Newert took part in the 2025 ICT New Technology Defense Application Showcase held at the Daejeon Convention Center, presenting the company's capabilities.
The event drew 106 organizations including the Ministry of National Defense, the Defense Technology Promotion Research Institute, and private companies, and featured a total of 113 proposals for new ICT technologies applicable to the defense sector.
Newert CEO Lee Jung-nyeon gave a technical presentation titled "Development and Field Validation of IoT Technology to Support Soldiers' Barracks Life," and ran a consultation booth in a separate meeting room that attracted considerable interest from attendees.
Building on EmoConnect PPG&Motion, which is built entirely with domestic technology, Newert showed how defense applications can monitor the physical and mental health of soldiers and respond quickly to safety incidents, and had the opportunity to explain this in detail in an interview with KFN TV, the defense and security channel of the Defense Media Agency.
Newert will continue to do its utmost to provide an optimized environment for research institutes, universities, and organizations that need research and development in the biosignal field.
