Newert Joins the Inha University Hospital Open Laboratory Program

Newert has been selected for the "2025 Open Laboratory Operation Program," which supports the growth of startups holding strong technologies and products by opening up and leveraging the resources of Inha University Hospital, including personnel, facilities, and equipment.

The Open Laboratory Operation Program is an incubation program that fosters and supports startups in the health and medical sector. The Ministry of Health and Welfare selects hospitals with strong research capabilities and infrastructure, and opening that infrastructure helps startups advance their technologies and products while building a framework for mutually beneficial cooperation between hospitals and companies.

Through this program, Newert will apply the infrastructure and resources of Inha University Hospital to EmoConnect PPG&Motion, its independently developed wristband-type biosignal measurement device, in order to secure clinical data on biosignal measurement across different skin tones and to advance the technology through advice and consulting on the biomarkers that field work actually requires.

Newert also plans to use the program as an opportunity to showcase its biosignal expertise and expand its business through exchanges with the other participating companies, whose fields include remote health monitoring, AI-assisted medical questionnaires, digital healthcare, medical imaging platforms, regenerative ointments, and products addressing an aging society.
