Newert Exhibits at the 2025 SME Convergence Expo

2 min read

From November 4 to 5, 2025, Newert took part in the '2025 SME Convergence Expo' held at the Daejeon Convention Center (DCC), participating as a member of the Youth Startup Academy of the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency and presenting its EmoConnect PPG&Motion biosignal measurement device together with the services and solutions Newert offers.

The '2025 SME Convergence Expo' is Korea's largest convergence and collaboration exhibition, co-hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and Daejeon Metropolitan City, and held in Exhibition Hall 2 of the Daejeon Convention Center (DCC) under the theme [Opening the future of SMEs through convergence and innovation].

Around 200 companies took part. Alongside exhibits of convergence technology products, the program included export consultation sessions with invited overseas buyers, technology transfer consultations, and presentations of outstanding startup achievements. It was a meaningful occasion where SMEs exchanged technologies and networks and found a stepping stone toward global markets.

Newert built its exhibit around EmoConnect PPG&Motion, developed in-house, and explored the potential to enter emerging markets — Ecuador and South America, Uzbekistan, and Ukraine — beyond its existing markets in China, the United States, Europe, and Japan.

In particular, in-depth meetings with overseas representatives of the World Federation of Overseas Korean Traders Associations produced an exchange of views on market entry strategies for each country and confirmed new possibilities for cooperation. Discussions also took place with heads of biosignal-related research institutes and organizations about a smart senior center project built on biosignal measurement technology, leading to concrete follow-up meetings after the exhibition and tangible outcomes.

Through this exhibition, Newert further clarified its vision as an R&D-focused biosignal solution company: strengthening technical exchange and cooperation by expanding its global network.
